“Although I work with clay, I am obsessed with how much distance I can put between my work and what is traditionally considered ‘pottery’”.
- Fukami Sueharu
For this fall, we will be exhibiting a collection of works by 15 ceramicists that are considered to be “Modern Masters”. They have all made a name for themselves in the world of Japanese Ceramics in distinct niches, and we are very honored and excited to be able to present to you their works. These pieces span the length of these artists’ entire careers, and are examples of the very best of modern ceramics.
We sincerely hope that you enjoy this exhibition, and will be able to feel the intense passion from each of these artists.
