BLACK & WHITE

BLACK & WHITE

Art holds the unique power to transcend borders, bridge cultural divides, and unite humanity through shared expression. Across time and geography, it has served as a universal language: from ancient cave paintings to contemporary street murals, art allows cultures to connect on a deeply human level, despite differences in language, religion or politics. In our globalized world, this creative dialogue is not simply enriching - it is essential.

This exhibition brings together six artists from Japan and Korea - two countries with rich and intertwined histories - who limit their palettes to black and white. In these two elemental opposites, the artists explore nuance, contrast, and fundamentally, unity.

This exhibition will be held at Kura Monzen gallery from Saturday, 7th June to Monday, 21st July 2025. We hope to see you at the gallery soon!
