Baba Yasutaka was born in Nagasaki Prefecture in 1991 and completed his training at the Tajimi Ceramics Research Facility in 2017. His architectural ceramic works have been presented internationally, including in the United States, TEFAF Maastricht, Art Miami, and London, as well as in numerous domestic exhibitions.
Baba’s work is distinguished by its interplay of light and shadow across meticulously crafted facades. Each piece is composed of tiny porcelain blocks attached individually by hand, reflecting both sculptural beauty and an exceptional attention to detail, and capturing the elemental essence of porcelain’s natural elegance.
