Two accordion albums, the smaller single sided, the larger double sided, dating from the Taisho period created by various artists in the environs of the ancient capital. The books both appear to have been created in the early to mid Taisho period (with dates of 1914-1916 written into some of the captions). Ink and color on paper, they are bound in silk covers, both simply titled Gacho. The first book is 15 x 21.5 cm (6 x 8-1/2 inches), the second 18.5 x 24.3 cm (7-1/2 x 9-1/2 inches) and both are in overall fine condition.
