A breathtaking set of stacking boxes from the Wakasa tradition dating from the mid 20th century enclosed in the original wooden box titled Wakasa-nuri Takadai Tsuki Go Dan Ju. The box is: 24 x 23 x 35.5 cm (9-1/2 x 9-1:4 x 16 inches), the stand is 29.5 x 29 x 12 cm (roughly 11-1/2 x 11-1/2 x 5 inches) and all is in excellent condition.
