A carved wooden box in the shape of a shishi dating from early to mid 20th century enclosed in a period wooden box bearing a seal from the Kawabayashi Watch Shop of Tokyo’s Swank Ginza District. It is 22 x 17 x 7 cm (9 x 7 x 3 inches) and is in overall fine condition ;lined with festive red lacquer on the inside.
