A beautifully modeled pair of round puppies still in their baby fat, one curiously looking on as the other tears at a twig of bamboo. They are Tokyo School, dating from the early 20th century. They measure 16 x 11 x 9.5 cm, 17.5 x 10.5 x 15 cm (6-1/4 x 4-1/2 x 4 and 7-1/2 x 4-1/4 x 6 inches) respectively and in excellent condition.
