A very unusual Myochin style Tobacco case hand formed of iron using the uchidashi technique with raised Kikusui imagery on the front. Two rings circling the Himotoshi eyelets on the top appear to be covered in gold. The interior too, has been coated in gold. It is 8.5 x 4.5 x 8 cm (3-1/2 x 1-3/4 x 3-1/4 inches) and is in excellent condition, dating from the 19th century.
