A set of stacking dishes in the shape of a Tea Brazier Set (Furogama) dating from the late 19th to early 20th century enclosed in a red lacquered wooden display box. It is performed in the dry lacquer technique covered in Sabiji-nuri (lacquer made to look like rust). Consisting of four tiers, a lid and an inner ring used for holding a sake cup, assembled it is 15. x 17.5 x 21.5 cm (roughly 6 x 7 x 8-1/2 inches). There are some ships to the edges, typical of age and use, but is in overall fine condition.
