A stunning Meiji period lacquered box with serving tray decorated with autumn leaves outside, the interior and bottom covered in glimmering Nashiji gold flake. The box is 14 x 12 x 5.5 cm (5-1/2 x 5 x 2 inches) the tray is 22 x 18.5 x 1 cm (9 x 7-1/2 x 1/2 inches) and all is in excellent condition, enclosed in a custom-made wooden storage box.
