A circular box in the shape of a Suzu (Bell) enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Daigo Hanami no Suzu Kashiki (Daigo Flower Festival Bell Shaped Sweets Dish). The container is made of turned wood covered in Suzu-no-ko powdered metal and black lacquer. It is 17 cm (7 inches) diameter and in overall fine condition. Daigo-ji is a historic Buddhist temple in Kyoto known for its stunning cherry blossoms and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
