A black Raku Koro incense burner with a flaring shoulder raised on three small feet capped with a silver lid pierced with phoenix (Ho-o) with a floral spray on one side, the opposite signed Kenzan enclosed in a period black lacquere wooden box titled Kenzan-yaki Koro. It is 9 cm (3-1/2 inches) diameter, 10 cm (4 inches tall and in excellent condition.
