An exquisite porcelain vase by Shoumura Hisaki enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Hakumyousaiji Maru Tsubo. It is 30 cm (12 inches) diameter, 25.5 cm (10 inches) tall and in perfect condition.
Shoumura Hisaki was born in Kumamoto prefecture on the Southern Island of Kyushu in 1974. After graduating the Kumamoto Industrial College (Kumamoto Sangyo Daigaku) He spent two years at the Sage Prefectural Ceramic School. He garnered his first exhibition in 2003 and has since been featured in galleries throughout the archipelago including the prestigious Kuroda Toen in Ginza. He has also been selected for and awarded at the Nihon Dento Kogeiten National Traditional Crafts Exhibition as well as the Issui-kai among others.
