A breathtaking elevated tray in black lacquer covered in a hand decorated mesh of gold Ami-me (fish-net) patterns from the prestigious Keizuka lacquer studio in Wajima. It is 39.5 x 39.5 x 3 cm (roughly 16 x 16 x 1 inches) and in perfect condition, enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Ami-ma Maki-e Moriki. The Keizuka studio was founded in 1919, and has maintained a name for superlative lacquerware in the acclaimed Wajima tradition for over 100 years.
