A beautiful small chest of 3 drawers perfect as a jewelry box made of wood covered in mottled red and black patterned lacquer from the Wakasa lacquer tradition. The interior of each drawer is lacquered black, perfect for offsetting the color inherent in silver, gold and jewels. It is 34.5 x 24.5 x 16 (13-1/2 x 10 x 6-1/2 inches) and is in excellent condition, with a bit of wear on the bottom typical of use.
