An exquisite large celadon vase by Muromachi Katsuhiro enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Seihakuji Zogan Tsubo “Soshun” (Early Spring).  It is 35 cm (14 inches) diameter and in perfect condition.

Due to size the cost of shipping will be accrued separately.

Muromachi Katsuhiro was born in a Tokyo struggling to rise from the ashes os the second world war in 1949. From 1971 to 1974 he took instruction from Kawakami Shozaburo and Miyanohara Ken in Chiba prefecture, before establishing his own kiln in 1975 in Tochigi.  He fell in the circle of Living National Treasures Tamura Koichi.  It was in 1990 that he moved his kiln to Nikko.
