A bronze incense Burner in the shape of a warrior s helmet (Kabuto) on top of an armor storage box, the helmet bowl hinged to reveal the incense chamber beneath. It comes enclosed in an old wooden box titled O-Mikagami Koro and is dated Bunka 2 (1805). The Koro is 17.5 x 9.5 x 18 cm (7 x 4 x 7-1/4 inches) and is in excellent condition.
