An image of a bird in dry lacquer dating circa 1970 by Banura Yuji enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled simply Tori (Bird). It is 36 x 22 x 51.5 cm (14 x 9 x 20-1/2 inches) and is in overall excellent condition.
Banura Yuji was born in Kyoto in 1935, and was first exhibited in 1956, and was consistently exhibited at the Shin-seisaku-ten as well as the Gendai Nihon Bijutsu Ten.
