A narrow, handled body rises majestically to a wide flaring flange forming this magnificent Japanese bronze vase dating from the Muromachi to Momoyama period (115th -16th century). It comes enclosed in an old wooden box titled Ko-do ?zui Daiza Jumon-mimi-tsuki Rikka-bin Muromachi Jidai. It is 28.5 cm (11-1/4 inches) diameter, 32.5 cm (13inches) tall. Overall, in excellent condition.
