Two carp leap through the torrent on below blossoming Peony flowers creating this three dimensional wall hanging carved from a single block of wood. Rendered in beautiful detail with golden eyes, the sublime creatures cut through the rushing falls. The carving is 26 x 12 x 60 cm (10-1/2 x 5 24 inches) and is in overall fine condition. With one loss to the tip of the wave to the left of the largest creatures head. There are two slots in the back for mounting.
