Katori Masahiko (1899-1988) was born into the family of prominent Bronze Artist Katori Hozuma in Chiba. He was internationally awarded at the Paris Exposition in 1925, the year he graduated The Tokyo University of Fine Arts (a student of Tsuda Shinobu).
