An exquisite basin carved of soft wood in the shape of a curling lotus leaf with another overlapping as the lid, a small water crab crawling inside signed underneath and enclosed in a period wooden box titled Mokucho Kayo-gata Kashiki. It is 15 x 10.5 x 5 cm (6 x 4 x 2 inches) and is in excellent condition.
