Pin-holed and fissured thick white glaze over enigmatic iron designs decorate this unusal square Shino Koro Incense Burner fitted with a custom made silver lid pierced with Sayagata Key Frette designs. It is roughly 11 cm (4-1/4 inches) square, 9 cm tall with the lid. There are two small repairs to the inside of the rim (see photos). It comes in a severely age-darkened kiri-wood box.
