A beautiful Temple lantern of Akado (Copper rich bronze) on a black lacquered tri-legged base. The top is pierced with clouds, to allow the smoke from candles or oil lamps to escape. The sides are with pierced windows lined with rough cloth and are engraved about the bottom with blowing lotus petals. It is 17.5 cm (7 inches) diameter, 32 cm (12-1/2 inches) tall with stand and in excellent condition.
