A 4-chamber lunch box created using a singled large gourd, cut, hollowed and lacquered inside enclosed in a period kiri-wood presentation box. A pure and solid silver lid covers the sake bottle top, and the whole is secured by deer skin straps. It is 26.5 cm (10-1/2 inches) diameter, 31 cm (12-1/4 inches) tall and in excellent condition, dating from the early 20th century.
