A playful looking friend by Suzuki Yusaku intricately decorated with a non-repeating tight looping pattern enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Hanputei Danputei (Humpty Dumpty) decorated on the lid with an image of the figure, as well as on all sides with starbursts, faces and bulging eyes dated 2021. It is 22 x 11.5 x 17 cm (9 x 4-1/2 x 7 inches) and is in perfect condition, directly from the artist.
Suzuki Yusaku was born in Aichi prefecture in central Japan in 1991 and graduated the Nagoya Zokei University Ceramics Course in 2014. He started drawing in the latter half of his sophomore year in college and this practice became the foundation of his current artistic style as well as a key element of his work’s appeal. He holds both group and solo exhibitions across Japan.
