An absolutely exquisite work of silver wire cloisonne enamel by female artist Ishizaka Kumiko exhibited at the 55th Nihon Dento Kogeiten National Traditional Crafts exhibition in 2007 enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Yusen Shippo Futamono Icho. It is 18 cm (7-1/4 inches) diameter, 10 cm (4 inches) tall and in perfect condition.
Ishizaki Kumiko was botn in Tokyo in 137, graduating the s Art University in 1959. In 1973 she apprenticed under Okagaki Yukie. She won Governors prize in 1984 at the 18th National Cloisonne Artists Society Exhibition. Following that her work was featured in the Nihon Dento Kogei-ten Traditional Crafts Exhibition, as well as the Shinsaku Kogei-ten (New Works of Traditional Crafts Exhibition).
