Uros Orgizovic ウロシュ・オグリゾヴィッチ
Uroš Ogrizović (often spelled Uros Orgizovic in English) is a Serbian contemporary artist born in Belgrade in 1995. He studied ceramics at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, completing his undergraduate degree in 2019 and his master’s degree in 2021 in the Ceramics department. Since 2022, he has been furthering his practice through advanced studies at the Ishoken Ceramics Research Facility (Tajimi Pottery Design Technical Institute) in Japan, a leading institution for ceramic design and innovation.
Ogrizović works across ceramics, painting, and installation, developing emotionally charged forms and imagery that draw from personal experience, memory, and material exploration. His recent series Stories of the Moon and Rain (Priče Meseca i Kiše) blends large-format paintings with expressive charcoal gestures and sculptural porcelain elements in deep blues, whites, and golds, creating a visual narrative that balances between the real and the imagined.
He has exhibited both in Japan and internationally. In 2023, he held his first solo exhibition in Kyoto titled Priče Meseca i Kiše, and in 2025 he presented Ten Love Stories for the Rain in Belgrade, featuring porcelain installations alongside painting and narrative text. His work continues to explore the interplay of material, emotion, and personal narrative through an expressive and immersive visual language.
