Takeuchi Kozo was born in Hyogo prefecture in 1977, and graduated the Osaka University of Arts in 2001 before enrolling at the Tajimi Pottery Design Technical Institute graduating there in 2003. He has an impressive list of exhibitions both domestic and international including the USA, France, UK, Netherlands and Belgium. He was selected for the exclusive 13^th Paramita Ceramic Art Taishoten in 2018. And in 2022 he served as artist in residence at the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park. His work is held in the collections of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, (USA), the Victoria and Albert Museum (UK), the Cernuschi Museum (France), the Anadolu University Museum of Fine Arts (Turkey), the Hyōgo Ceramic Art Museum (Japan), the Aichi Prefectural Ceramic Museum (Japan), the Takashimaya Historical Museum (Osaka, Japan) and the INAX Tile Museum (Aichi, Japan).
