Removing the lid one finds a deep box in black lacquer for storing paper and other essentials.  A pull out drawer contains a red-lacqeured ink stone and silver water dropper. The box is 30 x 20 x 17 cm (12 x 8 x 7 inches) and in perfect condition.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFuji Izokichi was a woodworking\/Lacquer artist based in Kanazawa from the early to mid 20th century.
