An exquisite crackled celadon jar with a small mouth stoppered with a wooden bung over which is placed a worked brass lid engraved with srolling vines and flowers in the shape of a cloth cover, the entire enclosed in a fine kiri-wood box titled KoraiUnkaku Seiji Furidashi (Shippo Fukuro Kuchi Futa yo).About the shoulder are impressed a belt of flower blossom shapes filled with white slip below which can be seen soaring birds and circles in the same technique over a double line separating it from the base.It is 10.5 cm (4 inches) diameter, 15.5 cm (6 inches) tall and in excellent condition.
