It is 25 cm (10 inches) diameter, roughly the same height, and in perfect condition.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTerui Ichigen (Kazuyoshi) was born in Iwate Prefecture in Northern Japan in 1943. While a student at the prestigious Waseda University, he became fascinated with pottery, spending his free months in Arita, and after graduating from the Faculty of Education, decided he would make pottery his career.  He entered the studio of Okugawa Chuuemon and then, after Chuuemon fell ill, future Living National Treasure Inoue Manji.
