An exquisite lacquer box with figurative floral motif in gold and inlayed mother of pearl by Maeda Shinichi enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Soshun no Shirusu (Early Spring Continues). It is 24 cm (9-1/2 inches) diameter, 16 cm (6-1/2 inches) tall and in excellent condition.
