A stylish bowl of Keyaki wood covered in transparent lacquer accentuating the beauty of the wood grain elevated on three fins lacquered black very reminiscent of mid-century design by Kimura Soshun enclosed in the original signed wooden box. It is 27.5 (11 inches) diameter, 9 cm (3-1/2 inches) tall and in excellent condtion. Kimura Soshun was a well-known wood worker and lacquer artist of the Showa period representing the Lacquer tradition of Tottori prefecture.
