A beautiful large square platter decorated with a local Japanese fruit, the Akebi, enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Yusai Iro-e Akebi no Zu Shikaku O-sara, It is 42 x 43 x 6 cm (17 x 17 x 2-1/4 inches) and is in perfect condition.
Hirose Yoshiyuki was born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1954, and graduated the Tokyo University of the Arts advanced studies in 1984, before entering the studio of Living National Treasure Fujimoto Yoshimichi. He established his own studio in 1992. He has focused on private exhibitions as his outlet, with shows throughout Japan.
