A tight basket weave in white decorates the black surface of this sake cup by Suzuki Yusaku enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Guinomi 2025 and decorated with starbursts and a heartfelt THX!. It is 6.5 cm (2-1/2 inches) diameter, the same height and in excellent condition.
Suzuki Yusaku was born in Aichi prefecture in central Japan in 1991 and graduated the Nagoya Zokei University Ceramics Course in 2014. He started drawing in the latter half of his sophomore year in college and this practice became the foundation of his current artistic style as well as a key element of his work’s appeal. He holds both group and solo exhibitions across Japan.
