Charles Lindsay (b. 1961, San Francisco) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work fuses ideas of time, technology, ecosystems, and semiotics. His work includes immersive environments, evocative acoustic spaces, and kinetic visual art, often constructed from aerospace and biotechnological waste, resulting in reflective sculptures. Lindsay is a Guggenheim Fellow, founder of the SETI Institute's artist-in-residence program SETI AIR, and a New York Times bestselling author, recognized for pioneering new horizons in science and artistic expression. He currently lives and works in Kyoto, Japan, where he is immersed in the study of consciousness, exploring the frontiers of AI and its impact on the future of humanity while exploring new forms of expression at the intersection of art and technology.
